There is one factor which you should realize here, for example, you will never get a telemarketing call where the person is low on energy, sounds down and out. It is because if you are not impressed with their attitude, you won't be willing to even communicate with them. Yet if you act and sound like a telemarketer or used car high pressure sales men; you are not listening and are pushing them away.
Likewise if you communicate with the customer in that manner, they won't be impressed either. Always be full of natural energy while making a presentation to the customer. Very full of sincere energy can be connived in a low key relaxed manor. Always be completely honest! This is a major and primary key for long term success! Practice it, talk into a tape recorder and listen to yourself. Especially do this in front of a mirror. Just how are you coming off? Is your style scam or sincere?
Be innovative:
To be a successful business person, you have to be innovative in your thoughts in order to impress and draw customer's attention towards you. Always think out of the box to present to them. Your job is not just to explain about the product / service, but to sell it. In order to do it, you need to have innovative ideas. But most again listen, what are their needs and can you fill it? Hard sell of something that doesn't solve their needs is scam and we have all seen too many of those. It doesn't matter if you market a product or a service. The basics are true for both.
